This easy sausage breakfast casserole is perfect for a busy morning – it’s easy to make, and it can be ready in just minutes! What you need to make this Sausage Breakfast Casserole:

INGREDIENTS:

1  16oz. Tube Mild Breakfast Sausage (Tennessee Pride)

1  Cup Sweet Onions (diced)

½ Cup Green Bell Peppers (diced)

½ Cup Red Bell Peppers (diced)

1  Cup Mushrooms (cut into quarters)

1  Tsp. Salt

1  Tsp. Pepper

1  Tsp. Garlic Powder

12 Eggs 

¼ Cup Milk

1  Can Refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet or Rolls 

1-2 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

In a nonstick skillet on medium heat, break the sausage up with a spoon or spatula and cook until browned.  Add onions, green and red bell peppers, and mushrooms, and continue to cook until the vegetables are tender. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then set aside.   

 

Lay the crescent dough sheet on a lightly floured work surface.  Sprinkle flour on top of the dough and roll it out with a rolling pin.  

 


Place the dough sheet in a 9 x 13 baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.  Press down and spread the dough sheet evenly on the bottom and up the sides of the baking dish.

Spoon and spread the sausage mixture on top of the crescent dough.

Whisk together the eggs and milk in a bowl, pour over the sausage mixture, then sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

Bake uncovered in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until eggs are set, and cheese is melted and golden brown.  Serve and enjoy!
