Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Onion (diced)
  • 1 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Onion Powder
  • 4 Tbsp. Taco Seasoning (divided)
  • 1 Can Rotel Tomato & Green Chili
  • 1 Can Tomato Paste
  • 8 oz. Spaghetti Pasta (uncooked)
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 1/2 cups Mexican Blend Cheese (shredded, divided)
  • 1 Roma Tomato (diced)
  • 3 Tbsp. Green Onion (diced)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet on medium heat add ground beef, diced onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder and 2 Tbsp. Taco seasoning. Cover and cook until the ground beef has browned and is no longer pink. Then add Rotel, and tomato paste, and mix it into the beef.
  2. Break the uncooked spaghetti in half and place it on top of the ground beef mixture. Pour the water over the spaghetti and beef, and make sure the water covers the spaghetti. Cover and cook on low for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep the pasta from sticking until the spaghetti is cooked.
  3. Sprinkle on the remaining taco seasoning. Add 1 cup of shredded Mexican blend cheese and mix it into the spaghetti beef mixture until the cheese has melted and the spaghetti is coated, then remove from heat.
  4. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, then top with diced tomato, green onion, and a little more shredded cheese. Enjoy this easy 20 min one skillet dinner!
