Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce (optional)

  • 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp. Pepper
  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion (diced)
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 cup Green Bell Pepper (diced)
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Ketchup
  • 1 Can (15oz) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Beef Broth or Water (optional)
  • 2 cups Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese (divided)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet on medium heat, add ground beef and Worcestershire Sauce (optional), then add the seasonings to the meat. Cook until meat is no longer pink (draining the excess fat is optional). Then add onion, minced garlic, red and green bell pepper, Dijon mustard, ketchup, and brown sugar. Mix it into the meat until it’s combined.
  2. Remove the skillet from the heat and pour it into a 3-quart Crockpot. Stir in tomato sauce and 1 cup of shredded cheese and mix it together. If the dip is a little too thick, you can add ¼ cup of beef broth or water. Cover and cook it on low for two hours.
  3. Top with the remaining shredded cheese, cover, and let it melt for about 5 minutes. Uncover and lightly stir, then serve on a bun or with your favorite chips, crackers, or bread, and enjoy this delicious dip!
