If you have never had a grilled sirloin tip roast, then you need to try this recipe. It’s super tender and juicy and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Sirloin Tip Roast
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter

Wet Rub Ingredients:

  • 1 Tsp. Coarse Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tsp. Ground Paprika
  • 1 Tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Rosemary
  • 1 Tsp. Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. In a measuring cup or bowl, add coarse salt, garlic powder, red pepper, paprika, onion powder, rosemary, Italian seasoning, and olive oil to make wet rub ingredients and mix them together. Rub it onto both sides of the roast including the sides and let sit for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat up the grill to 350 degrees.
  3. Place the roast in away from direct flame. Shut the lid and cook for about 15-20 min, then turn it over.
  4. Continue to cover and cook for another 10 minutes, then baste with butter on both sides. Keep away from the flame to prevent charring.
  5. Make sure the internal temp reaches 130 to 135 degrees.

Remove from the grill then place a large square of tin foil and cover the roast creating a hood over it and let it sit for 15min. The roast will continue to cook and this will help to retain the juices.

  6. Then slice thin against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
