Ingredients

Units Scale

The Crust:

1 15.35 oz. Bag Double Stuff Oreo Cookies (crumbled, divided)

½ Cup Butter (melted)

Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 1 8oz. Block Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 8oz. Tub Cool Whip

Pudding Layer:

  • 1 5.1oz. Box Instant Chocolate Pudding
  • 3 cups Milk (cold)

Topping:

  • 1 8oz. Tub Cool Whip
  • Remaining Cup of Crumbled Oreo Cookies

Instructions

  1. Start by placing the Oreo cookies into a large Ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin or mallet (the pieces should be crumbled into small chunks, not fine crumbs).
  2. Transfer the crumbled cookies into a 9 x 13 baking dish reserving about 1 cup to use later in the recipe. Pour the melted butter over the top of the cookies, then use a fork to combine them and gently pressing down to create the crust.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese and beat with a hand mixer until the cream cheese is creamy. Reduce the speed to low and start gradually adding the powdered sugar in slowly until combined.
  4. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in one tub of cool whip. Then spread it evenly over the crumbled cookie crust. Place the dish into the refrigerator to chill while preparing the pudding.
  5. In a medium mixing bowl, add the chocolate pudding mix and 3 cups of cold milk. Whisk together until it’s creamy, and let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken. When the pudding has thickened, remove the dish from the refrigerator, then spread the pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Spread the other tub of Cool Whip on top. Then sprinkle with the crumbled Oreo Cookies you reserved. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours (or overnight) before serving and enjoy this easy no bake dessert!
