Fish with Orange Sauce Recipe

Orange Juice with fish? We love to fish for crappie on the lakes of Tennessee. If you want a great way to make white fish, try this delicious fish with orange sauce recipe. It’s super easy and full of flavor!  You can make this recipe with any white fish you prefer. Many use Tilapia, but we love to make it with fresh crappie filets. It’s a great way to add flavor to your fish recipe.

What you will need to make this Orange Sauce Recipe:

Recipe Ingredients:

 

Main Ingredients:

  • 6 White Fish Filets (We use Crappie)
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Cilantro
  • Sesame seed

Orange Sauce:

  • 1 Cup of Orange Juice
  • ⅛ Cup of Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Finely Chopped Cilantro 
  • ½ Tsp. of Pure Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic
  • 1 Tsp. Ginger
  • ½ Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes

To make this recipe, start with a bowl and mix the orange sauce ingredients together, then set it aside.

In a skillet on medium heat, add Olive Oil and simmer the fish on both sides until it starts to get white and flaky, then remove them from the heat.

Turn the skillet on low and pour orange sauce over the fish.

Simmer on low for 4 to 5 minutes.  Place the fish on a bed of wild brown rice.

For extra flavor, drizzle a little of the orange sauce over the fish and rice. Garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds, and enjoy!
