French Dip Sliders Recipe

What’s the best thing about making these French Dip Sliders with Hawaiian Sweet Rolls?

We love to make these French Dip Sliders with Hawaiian sweet rolls because they come in a package of 12; they are soft and sweet and complement the roast beef. Plus, they add so much flavor to these French Dip Sliders they are sure to be a hit at your next party.

French Dip Sliders are easy-to-make and a delicious mouthwatering appetizer for dinner or lunch. Made with oven-roasted beef and provolone on Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, they’re perfect for a fun and easy meal. These roast beef French dip sliders are perfect for game day or any occasion!

Step-by-step Instructions:

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Remove the rolls from the package, leaving them intact. Take a large knife and slice the rolls in half so the tops and bottoms are separated. Pre-grease a 11×8 baking dish with half of the salted butter and place the bottom of the rolls with the cut side up into the baking dish.

Place a layer of half of the provolone cheese onto the bottom half of the rolls. Then add a layer of roast beef, then add the onions, and the remaining cheese. Place the top half of the rolls on top.

In a small bowl, stir together the melted unsalted butter and onion soup mix. Drizzle and brush this mixture on top of the rolls evenly. Cover loosely with foil, (make sure the foil is not touching the tops of the rolls) and bake it for 25 minutes.

While the sliders are baking, prepare the au jus gravy mix according to the package instructions with the water. Bring it to a boil, stir in black pepper, then remove from heat.

We use a Ramekin to put our Au jus in and place the sliders around the Ramekin on a plate for presentation. You can find these on Amazon here: Ramekins

Remove the foil and baste the tops of the rolls with the remaining salted butter. Place it back in the oven uncovered and let it bake an additional 5 minutes until the tops are golden brown. Remove the sliders from the oven. Garnish the sliders with parsley and serve with Au jus on the side for dipping.

What to serve with French Dip Sliders:

We love serving these sliders with Air fryer French Fries or even Coleslaw. Check out Shotgun Red’s Better than KFC ColeSlaw recipe.
