He loved to make people laugh and entertain, and he loved to cook. He started filming the cooking show in 2014 aboard the Miss Sheila Houseboat in Nashville, Tennessee.

EASY Recipe for chewy Blondies. These are the best recipe for blonde brownies. Delicious, easy blondies are very simple to make. We add a little something special to our recipe. We add white chocolate and dark chocolate chips in a soft and chewy brownie you will love.

What you will need to make Blondies:

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 2¼ Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ½  Tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1  Tsp. Salt
  • ½ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¾ Cups Dark Brown Sugar (tightly packed)
  • ½ Cups Light Brown Sugar (tightly packed)
  • 2  Sticks Butter (melted)
  • 2  Large Eggs + 1 Egg White (room temperature)
  • 2  Tsp. Vanilla 
  • 1  Cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 1  Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1  Cup Chopped Pecans

How to make Blondies:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with aluminum foil and then place a piece of parchment paper on top.  Make the aluminum foil slightly longer than the baking pan so you can lift the brownies out of the pan to cool.

 

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, dark brown sugar, and light brown sugar.  Add the butter, eggs, and vanilla and stir until well combined.  Then fold in the white chocolate chips.

Add a layer of semi-sweet chocolate chips on the bottom of the prepared baking pan.  Then spoon the blondie batter on top and spread evenly in the pan.  Top with chopped pecans.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until light golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

 

Remove from the oven and cool completely.  Then cut into squares and serve these delicious, buttery, soft and chewy brownies and enjoy.
